Universal Hazardous Waste 

No Curbside Pickup


Important Safety Notice: Please do not store used batteries and fluorescent light bulbs in the same container, or with any other recyclables.  Batteries and light bulbs should be separated from each other to prevent loss, potential exposure to hazardous chemicals (Mercury in a CFL), and ensure you, your family, and we are safe from any contamination and possible injuries from broken bulb glass or mercury exposure. We reserve the right to not accept any of these materials if they are presented in such a way as to compromise safety.

 Toxic Containing Components

  • Batteries (all types, including automobile, rechargeable, Lithium and lithium ion, hearing aid batteries, and power tool batteries)
  • Ink and toner printer cartridges
  • Electronics
    • TVs
    • Computers & computer monitors
    • Game consoles & digital picture frames
  • All mercury containing devices. 
    • PLEASE use caution handling mercury, it is a poisonous heavy metal! Mercury is present in fluorescent bulbs, thermometers, thermostats,

                                  automotive switches, and some antiques - pendulum clocks, barometers, silvered mirrors, and vases.
 Freon Appliances - We will not accept these items if the refrigerant system has been compromised. This is to ensure proper reclamation of the refrigerant contained in these items.

  • Refrigerators & freezers (empty & clean)
  • Air conditioners
  • Dehumidifiers

Mixed Electronic Waste 

  • E-Waste - needs to have circuitry to function, may have LCD display or time clock
  • Coffeemakers with digital timer
  • Printers, keyboards, pc mice, speakers, and other pc peripherals. 
  • Microwave ovens
  • Fax and copy machines
  • Radios
  • Telephones (including cell phones)
  • Calculators, remote controls, headphones, stereo speakers, other small miscellaneous electronic devices.
